Meet Evans
Evans Ochola, affectionately known as Nyamaganda, is a dynamic leader, entrepreneur, and community champion from Obama Village, Central Sakwa Ward, Awendo Constituency. With deep roots in Awendo and a career spanning East Africa and the UAE, he brings a unique blend of global experience and local passion.
Evans founded the Nyamaganda Foundation to promote education, youth empowerment, and economic development. Despite personal hardships, including the loss of both parents at a young age, Evans has remained committed to service, faith, and family.
With an MBA in Strategic Management and extensive work with UN agencies, he is ready to lead Awendo into a future of accountable, tech-savvy, and youth-driven governance.
